Fellow Cutters...we are excited to offer an "extra" Cutting for the 2012 season at the Santa Cruz County Fair! The cutting will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 starting at 9:00am. We will be using our usual class schedule (see our Class List page) and this show will count towards our Year-end awards! Stalls and shavings will be available at the County Fairgrounds and we will be releasing & posting current information on available motels as soon as we can.

OK, So we didn't quite "beat the heat" for our last spring cutting! As all of you who came on Saturday know, it was blazing hot!! We had a great cutting anyway and got it all done as early as possible. Thanks to all of you who came out to cut and also those who helped us clean up the site before our summer break.
Thanks to all of you, SACHA had a great spring for 2012 and a fabulous NCHA show on 3/31 & 4/1! Our last two cuttings for the 2012 season will probably be the last Saturday in October & the last Saturday in November, 2012. As soon as those dates are confirmed, they will be posted in our Upcoming Shows page.

WOW!!! Look what happens when you "order" good weather!
Last weekend's NCHA cutting was a record setting Cutting for our Southern AZ group! We also had a 97 works, one-day record on Sunday! Thanks to EVERYONE who helped with the show and, of course, to all the Cutters who came to cut! A special thanks to Terrye Kemp, our show secretary, for another great show. We love ya, Terrye!
We had a great time and hope you all did as well.
Remember our last cutting before the summer heat is in three weeks....on April 21st. This is a regular jackpot cutting, so you must reserve your cattle by Wednesday evening April 18th. (9:00pm) in order to be a part of the draw. Reserve your cattle by calling (520) 398-9033 or emailing to needcows@sachacutting.com

The Southern AZ Cutting NCHA show is coming up on Saturday March 31st & Sunday April 1! We will be using the same format again this year, a one day show - spread over two days.
Please check the Chatter or our Upcoming Show page for links to the proposed class schedule. We are planning Derby Open and Non-pro for the first two classes on Sunday morning, April 1 for anyone that is interested.
Also, we will be using our electric flag for anyone wanting to practice during either day of the show.
We are "planning" better weather this year, so everyone should be able to come and enjoy the facilities. There are a limited number of stalls available at the Marana stockyards, so please send me an email (needcows@sachacutting.com) or call (520) 398-9033 to reserve stalls for the show.

Thanks folks, for another great jackpot cutting yesterday! We had fantastic weather and it was a great day all around. (any day of Cutting is a great day, right?)
The photos from the 2011 Year-End Awards are all posted...check it out! The results for yesterday's show (1/28) will be up next week as well as the 2012 standings.
Don't forget our next show is in 3 weeks...February 18th and you must reserve cattle by 9:00pm Wednesday February 15! We have to place the cattle order early Thursday morning, so please help us get an accurate number by Wednesday evening!

HEY!
The Oct. 29th show was great - weather, new mechanical cow and it seemed like the real cows were pretty cooperative - at least for some people! Nice day.

You MUST reserve cattle by Wednesday, Nov 23 - 9:30 PM - no exceptions - for REAL this time!!!!
We will be shipping cattle in and need the lead time to get them ordered, etc. If you're late, go ahead and call in your reservation because if someone cancels, you may be able to get in the draw in their place.
